Greenbelt Children's Center is accredited by NAEYC's National Academy of Early Childhood Programs.

Greenbelt Children's Center is licensed and regulated by the Maryland State Department of Education, Office of Child Care and is an active member of:

• Prince George's County Group Child Care Association,
• Prince George’s Child Resource Center,
• Maryland State Child Care Association,
• Maryland Committee for Children,
• National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC)
• Maryland Association for the Education of Young Children.

Awards:
• Prince George’s County Board of Trade, Small Business of the Year 2005;
• Child Care Challenge Award 1999 from the MD Women’s Legislators

Greenbelt Children’s Center and the Prince Georges County Public School System cooperatively operate a public school pre-kindergarten program located here at GCC.

All staff meets or exceeds qualifications of the State of Maryland and the National Association for the Education of Young Children.
